[EDIT @ 6:30PM, 13/12/05] This is where I'm busy blogging instead of here. It's for uni so it might not be your cup of tea as it's long and windy and ranty. My special area is how the media is representing Religion. Kit's got his own blog now, amazingly (probably coz it's compulsory and assessable haha). He's also doing Religion in the media. Beware, it's highly sarcastic. A classmate misunderstood it for him being serious :O
Jen advised me to use FLICKR to upload my photos. I thought why not? Save my beloved host bandwith space :D And those photos kinda mark my first ownership of a digital camera so ENJOY! Now, I'll BRB once again.
PS: Whatever's happening down in Cronulla is disgusting, on both sides. The issue isn't specifically the Middle Eastern ie. Lebanese people. The real issue is gangs. Why target a whole community of Lebanese people? Gangs are the culprits. Gangs of any ethnicity are just as bad. Remember the good old days of Asian gang violence pre-2000? [/EDIT]
BE RIGHT BACK! I'm slowing down with the blogs here. Here comes a dot-point blog.
1. I'm currently doing a Summer school subject, because my inner geek has struck its chord. Therefore, I am busy with my other blog which is about religion in the media etc. (because it's an ongoing portfolio assignment thing and it's compulsory). Melody reckons they're pretentious but I'm having fun ranting regardless.
2. I did a satisfying article awhile ago with Kit about Cityrail ticket officers. It was for Newsday, which is basically when we get a story from our lecturers and go and write it up within a few hours.
3. I've joined the digital camera-wagon. Kit bought it for me as an early birthday present. I love it to bits! I've been taking photos like a crazy woman. They'll be up once I can be bothered resizing etc. etc.
4. I went FISHING for the first time in my life! We hired a boat, called the Fatty Boombar and went up the Hawkesbury River. I caught a flathead and a snapper. It was exciting stuff.
5. I went to the Oasis concert at the Hordern Pavillion and it rocked hardcore. It was crazy standing there with all the sweaty bodies...awesome. They played most of my fav's. Don't Look Back in Anger sealed the deal for me. Missed out on Foo's because I had no moolah left but I don't regret choosing Oasis over Foo's even though they are pretty awesome.
6. Georgina's 21st at Verandah Bar was quite interesting LOL ;) I remember asking a bald guy who wasn't part of the party whether I could touch his head. To which he agreed. I finally met Bubz and she made a charming first impression.
7. Jen's 20th was spent working on my tan at Manly. It was a beautiful day, and no 4m shark sightings thank god.
Over and out. Will be back more after I get my massive uni-related blogging out of the way.
